Thanks to a rich terroir and generous sunshine, our pears have a <\/span>high sugar content<\/b>, a guarantee of gustatory pleasure and naturalness. Long set aside in favor of apples or citrus fruits in winter, pears are now experiencing a <\/span>real revival<\/b>, driven by consumers' desire to rediscover seasonal, good fruits grown close to home.<\/span>\n\nA history of transmission and commitment<\/b>\n\nOnce very present in the orchards of the region, the pear had lost its place in the face of market demands. <\/span>\n\nBut things are changing. Thanks to a new generation of consumers and chefs in search of <\/span>authentic flavours<\/b>, the pear is regaining its letters of nobility. At SICOLY\u00ae, <\/span>new plantings are emerging<\/b>, marking <\/span>the return of this refined fruit<\/b> to our cooperative orchards with a recognized terroir that is perfectly suited to the cultivation of this fruit.<\/span>\n\nVarieties chosen for their taste<\/b>\n\nSICOLY\u00ae pears are mainly from the <\/span>Williams<\/b>, <\/span>Comice, Harrow varieties etc.<\/b> Known for their <\/span>melting, sweet and fragrant flesh<\/b>. Each fruit is grown according to demanding agricultural practices, <\/span>harvested when ripe<\/b>, then <\/span>cooled quickly<\/b> in order to preserve all its organoleptic qualities.<\/span>\n\nA Baby Food labelled production for Bl\u00e9dina\u00ae<\/b>\n\nSince the 1990s, SICOLY\u00ae has been working in <\/span>partnership with Bl\u00e9dina\u00ae<\/b> to supply fresh pears for processing into baby food jars.
