Our production workshop
The SICOLY-SICODIS cooperative group now has more than 120 member producers, who grow and harvest 9000 tons of very high quality fresh fruit each year. Thanks to its terroir, the SICOLY cooperative’s member farms produce a wide variety of fresh fruit, from April until the first winter frosts.

State-of-the-art equipment
The cherry grader
Always in a process of continuous improvement of our tools, Sicoly has acquired a latest-generation cherry grader, state-of-the-art equipment that allows fruit to be sorted with great precision while respecting its integrity. Thanks to a high-definition electronic vision system, each cherry is analysed individually according to its diameter, colour and external appearance, guaranteeing perfect homogeneity and impeccable visual quality.
This innovation allows us to make the most of the production of our cooperative members, to optimize the selection to meet the requirements of our different markets, while preserving the freshness of the fruit. A technology at the service of human know-how and Sicoly® quality.
The apple-pear-peach grader
To support the diversity of its production, Sicoly has equipped itself with a grader specially designed for sorting apples, pears and peaches. This high-performance tool combines state-of-the-art technology and mechanical precision to ensure rigorous grading of fruits according to their size, colour and visual appearance.
Thanks to this installation, each batch is harmonized and perfectly adapted to the needs of our customers, whether in the fresh market or in the food industry. This reliable and efficient system helps to optimize the value of each fruit while guaranteeing a high level of quality and consistency. A major asset to maintain the high standards and know-how that have made Sicoly’s® reputation.
Storage chambers
In a logic of responsible innovation, Sicoly® has equipped its site with latest-generation storage chambers, representing a total volume of 25,000 m³. This installation is one of the first in France to operate using a transcritical CO₂ system, a pioneering technology in the Rhône-Alpes region.
This device uses CO₂ as the only refrigerant, a natural gas with a greenhouse effect impact close to zero. By adopting this solution, Sicoly® reconciles energy performance, food safety and respect for the environment, while guaranteeing its producers optimal storage conditions to preserve the freshness and quality of the fruit throughout the year.
APPROVAL / QUALITY
The guarantee of the best fruit
At Sicoly®, quality is at the heart of every harvest. As soon as they arrive at the cooperative, the fruit goes through rigorous approval by our dedicated team. Each batch is controlled according to precise criteria of ripeness, colour, size and appearance, to ensure that only the best fruit continues its journey to our packaging or processing lines.
These controls, combined with complete traceability from our producers’ orchards, ensure our customers consistent and controlled quality. This daily requirement allows Sicoly to fully value the work of its members and to offer fruit that meets the highest standards on the market.

It is in our fresh fruit packaging workshop that the work of our producers takes on its full meaning.Here, the SICOLY-SICODIS teams prepare the fruit for the various markets every day, in a controlled environment where speed and precision are essential.
The fruit is handled with care, packaged according to the needs of each customer, and then shipped as soon as possible to preserve all its taste quality. This workshop embodies the meeting of technology and human know-how, ensuring that each fruit that leaves the cooperative reflects the freshness and high standards of Sicoly®.
COMMITTED PRODUCERS
For even more guarantees
The cooperative benefits from numerous labels: GlobalG.A.P, the PFI approach and eco-responsible orchards for certain species… Alternative methods to the use of phytosanitary products in orchards have been applied for more than 20 years. Part of the production is certified Organic Farming. The fruit production of SICOLY members is technically supported by an internal department that constantly advises producers. SICOLY’s fruits therefore naturally comply with most of the specifications in force, whether national, European or specific to certain customers.
Our sorting station is also IFS FOOD certified.
