Charlotte strawberry puree
Our Charlotte France frozen strawberry puree is made from fruits grown in France, harvested at full maturity and selected for their taste qualities.
The Charlotte strawberry is a variety of French strawberry that is the result of a cross between a Mara des Bois strawberry.
This cross gives the Charlotte strawberry its unique flavour, which makes it one of the most tasty and popular strawberry varieties, especially in pastry or ice cream.
Naturally sweet, with little acidity, the Charlotte strawberry offers delicious aromatic notes, some of which are reminiscent of wild strawberries, as well as a beautiful deep red color.
Like the rest of our range of frozen purees and juices, this recipe has no added sugar*, to preserve the authentic and natural taste of the fruit, and release all the aromas of this exceptional strawberry!
Frozen Charlotte strawberry puree: the quality guarantee
A puree with no added sugars* means impeccable fruit quality!
All the fruits are selected according to strict quality criteria (selection of the most aromatic varieties, mixing, fruits picked at full maturity, etc.) to release all their aromas in our frozen juices and purees.
Our recipes and processing processes are adapted to each fruit to preserve each of its particularities and offer a range as close as possible to fresh fruit.
The fruit is processed in our own production workshop located in Saint-Laurent-d’Agny (Rhône). The strawberries are crushed and then sieved, for a smooth and pleasant texture. The puree obtained is then deaerated to prevent any risk of micro-oxidation, and to preserve the original colour of the fruit.
The puree is then heat-treated using an ultra-fast process (ohmic heating) that preserves all the organoleptic properties of the fruit: colour, taste, etc.
This process also allows us to reduce the bacterial load and therefore ensure that our products are well preserved, without the addition of sugar.
