The emblematic fruit of summer, the apricot embodies the sunny delicacy par excellence. At SICOLY®, it has its roots in a unique terroir, at the foot of the Coteaux du Lyonnais, where a mild climate and generous sunshine create ideal conditions for optimal ripeness and an incomparable aromatic richness.

A short season, exceptional quality

The apricot peak season runs from June to August, when our producers harvest the fruit when perfectly ripe. This picking at full maturity guarantees fruit with juicy, sweet and subtly acidic flesh, which reveals all its intensity in the mouth.

Le Bergeron, star variety

SICOLY® relies mainly on the Bergeron variety, renowned for its slightly pink orange skin, its firm and fragrant flesh, and its beautiful resistance to processing.

A few other taste varieties complete the production to offer a wider aromatic palette. In total, more than 400 tons of apricots are harvested each year by the cooperative.

Settled in 2020 in Loire-sur-Rhône, Grégoire Cote took over a family farm that is in line with four generations of arboriculturists. With respect for traditions and the desire to be part of sustainable agriculture, he grows a wide range of fruits: strawberries, apples, pears, cherries and apricots.
