A harvest spread out from May to July

Thanks to the diversity of its terroirs, between the Monts and Coteaux du Lyonnais, and the selection of different varieties, SICOLY® offers an exceptional harvest period, extending without interruption from May to July. This extension guarantees a regular and controlled supply, meeting the needs of the most demanding markets.

Dynamic and future-oriented production

SICOLY® cherry orchards are recent, planted with modern varieties, selected for their taste, their hold, their size and their visual attractiveness. All new plantings are protected by nets and/or tarpaulins, ensuring increased resistance to bad weather, especially rain and hail, two major risks for this fragile fruit as well as protection against insect pests.

SICOLY® is distinguished by its unique station equipment in France, guaranteeing optimal quality control:

• Electronic sorting by ultra-precise optical grader: rigorous selection of fruits according to their size and color.
• Hydrocooling on reception : immediate cooling of the cherries in cold water to stop their ripening and preserve their freshness.
• Freshness sachet : an exclusive technology that slows down the metabolism of the fruit and significantly extends its shelf life.

Generous and consistent production

With a capacity of 1,800 tons per year, SICOLY® is a leading player in cherries in France. This large volume, coupled with the rigour of our logistics organization, allows us to guarantee a daily flow of shipments.
