Frozen pear inserts: a service product
The SICOLY® pear insert is a real service product that will allow manufacturers and craftsmen in the food industry to gain in efficiency in their production.
Ready-to-use, the SICOLY® pear insert in sheet does not require prior defrosting and can therefore be inserted into desserts or savory creations as soon as they come out of the box. The frozen pear insert plates are also delivered without a plastic mould to avoid unnecessary handling and reduce production waste.
Thermoreversible, the SICOLY® pear insert can be remelted as needed and reused to limit losses and waste.
The size of the SICOLY® pear insert plates has also been specially designed to match the formats of standard pastry trays.
SICOLY® pear insert: quality and consistency
The recipe for pear insert plates has been developed with the same strict quality criteria as the rest of our range. This insert has a very high fruit content with only the right amount of sugar necessary for the taste balance. It also has no artificial colors or preservatives.
The use of pectin instead of gelatin gives the SICOLY® pear insert a unique texture, with both a good hold in the dessert and a pleasant melt-in-the-mouth sensation. It can also be adapted to all diets.
Possible applications for pear insert plates
Frozen pear trays can be used whole or cut to meet all your creative desires: in an entremet, in pies, pastry fillings, ice cream marbling, inserts in chocolate candies, inserts in frozen logs, catering applications with foie gras for example, etc.
