In Chaussan, in the mountains of Lyonnais, Yannick Morretton grows his fruit with his sister Céline, in a spirit of family and cooperation. Established in 1999, he took over the family farm, which was then not very focused on fruit production, and gradually transformed it into a dynamic farm, specialising in small fruits.
Raspberries, strawberries, redcurrants, cherries… On their plots, the harvests follow one another over the seasons, punctuated by a demand for quality and a constant attention to the environment. The farm is now HVE3 certified, and about 10% of the crops are grown organically. Yannick is also diversifying his business by growing lamb’s lettuce for the Terres LYONNAISES network of short circuit stores.
